America’s First Trade Mission in Mindanao

US Agriculture Deputy Administrator, Patricia Sheikh, who arrived last 28 October 2009, said “the trade mission was the first of its kind in Mindanao.”

The Department of Agriculture presented for possible Investments were biofuel, food production, rubber plantation, palm oil, jatropha, seaweeds, mariculture, and also coconut, mango, and banana.

The 12 US firms delegates are America Trading Services; LLC based in California; Eco Vative Resources, an export company; Hima Corporation; Garuda International; Intervision foods; Novick Industries Inc.; the Alan Group, a biofuel producer; Agri-Ima GIS technology; and Us Fed group.
